Expand allDay 1: DRIVE TO CHITWAN (APPROX185KM)
On your arrival at SAURAHA bus park or TADI or BHARATPUR airport, our staff will receive you. You will then be transferred to our resort, where you will be offered refreshment and given a briefing and its facilities.
Then a village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village, where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of the THARUS. Visit to the national park visitor’s centre you can learn more about the history of national
park and about wildlife and the sunset view from the bank of RAPTI RIVER. THARU cultural dance presentation (which you will also be participates in) by the local villagers
Day 2: FULL DAY CHITWAN JUNGLE PROGRAM
The next morning starts with a CANOE RIDE along the Rapit River. You can see birds and the 2 rare species of crocodiles, the marsh mugger and the fish-eating GHARIAL. In addition to jungle walking, on the way
back one can enjoy elephant bathing, jeep safari, and exploring different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, monkeys, leopards, sloth bears, and the ROYAL BENGAL TIGER (if you are lucky). You will also encounter
many other small mammals that have made CHITWAN their home.
Day 3: DRIVE BACK TO KATHMANDU OR GO TO POKHARA
