Best 10 days Manaslu Trek with Avi Communicated with Ramesh over whatsapp and Facebook. Very professional and patient guy who always responds to my many questions about the trek. Decided to confirm with his company as he was very sincere even calling me to clear my doubts. Upon reaching Kathmandu, he picked me up from airport at no extra cost even though this was not included in the package. I met my guide Avishek and we started our 10 days trek. Avishek was truly entertaining. He was very sociable with the locals and the first few days he made it a point to find out more about me. Throughout the trek, Avishek did his job perfectly, encouraged me and supported me even in that challenging descent down the steep slopes after crossing larke pass. He loves helping the local community and walks the talk. It was Avishek who believed the weather will be clear and told me not to worry as he had never had to turn back before in his career. And sure enough the window was open and we crossed Larke Pass on 11 Apr morning. Overall, I had decent accommodations and meals all smoothly arranged by Avishek and company. He covered some of the costs like extra hot water to make me feel more comfortable. Happy to have engaged Avishek and Nepal holiday trek and tours for this trek! Incredible Gokyo, Cho La & EBC Trek – Professional, Caring & Well Organised We completed our 16-day Gokyo, Cho La and Everest Base Camp trek in November 2025 with Ramesh and the team at Nepal Holiday Treks and Tours, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the very beginning, Ramesh was extremely helpful and made the planning process easy and stress-free. He was highly responsive on WhatsApp prior to our trip, patiently answering all our questions and providing great advice on gear selection, trekking routes, accommodation in Kathmandu, and where to purchase gear locally. He helped organise airport transfers, assisted when our baggage didn’t arrive at Kathmandu airport, and arranged post-trek activities, which made the whole trip run smoothly and more enjoyable. Awesome trip with a great company Ramesh and the team organised our 16 Day Gokyo, Cho La and EBC trek. Doing it with Nepal Holiday Treks and Tours made everything very easy and nothing was too much trouble. Ramesh went above and beyond to retrieve our lost bags from the airport after they didn't make a connecting flight ( he delivered them at 1am so we didn't have to miss the start date of the trek which was amazing). Ramesh was super helpful with suggestions on our route and what gear we needed. He was also available prior to arrival for discussions on requirements. It was clear that Ramesh cares about his clients and he was often checking in how we felt, if we needed more drinks or food. We were able to travel as our own independent group which helped us manage much better and the porters who walked with us were very nice. EBC and ABC Treks - Amazing! Review Just completed Everest BC and Annapurna BC with Nepal Holiday Trek & Tours. Ramesh was extremely helpful and provided valuable tips and recommendations on trek variations. He even picked me up from the airport when I arrived and showed me stores when I needed to purchase specific items. The package prices were very reasonable. I originally booked the Everest 3 Passes trek but had to modify the itinerary due to an unexpected snowstorm while on the trek in October. Thanks to Amrit as my guide for checking the conditions of the trails and making adjustments as required, considering safety on the treks. Next up was the ABC trek, which went ahead as planned. I would strongly recommend Nepal Holiday Trek & Tours. There are so many beautiful treks in Nepal, and I definitely would use them again in future. That way I can be assured my next trip will be curated specifically for my needs, feel safe with a trustworthy company and guide, reasonably priced, and able to modify the itinerary as required in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

14 days EBC Trek We booked a 14 days Everest Base Camp trip with Nepal Holidays Treks and Tours. Mr Ramesh is very helpful on helping us to draft the itenary. Due to limited days in Nepal, he customised the trip is such way that we can enjoy the walk while keeping us safe from AMS. Our guide of this trip, Mr Santhosh is very helpful and making sure we are in good condition at all time. Ghorepani-Poon Hill and Mardi Himal treks. Amazing! My partner and I booked the Ghorepani-Poon Hill and the Mardi Himal routes with Nepal Holiday Treks and Tours. Ramesh was very helpful and answer all of our questions while booking it. Our guide was Jhamka. We did total of 9 days. If you come to Nepal, we 100% recommend booking the trek with them. Jhamka is very flexible and he adapted to our needs at all times. He explained everything very well, always happy to answer our questions. Without a doubt if we return, we will contact them again. Gokyo Ri via Renjo La Pass I booked the Gokyo Ri tour via Renjo La Pass with Nepal Holiday Treks and Tours. Since I got to Nepal, Ramesh has been super helpful. He picked me up from the airport, showed me around some of the nicer spots in Kathmandu, and was always there for me when I needed help. My guide for the tour was Mankumar. I had a good time on the tour with him. He speaks English, is super friendly, and is always there for you on the tour. He can also help out by talking to the locals. We had a great time. We ended up finishing our tour after six days instead of the planned ten. :)

Excellent guide, team and experience I did a customised Langtang Gosaikunda Pass Trek with Ramesh and his team and found Ramesh's experience, knowledge and care to be excellent. Also, he walks with you only at a pace you are comfortable with. This is the second trek I have done with Ramesh and I highly recommend him. I intend to use him on future treks.

How to get visa of Nepal?

It is very simple to get visa of Nepal. After reaching at Kathmandu TIA airport you can get visa which will just takes 20 minute to proceeds. How to hire trekking Guide and Porter and what should be their salary scale?

There are many people who are guiding in the Himalayan area but you should choose a guide who have government certified license and speaks good English language. You can search in Google freelance guide in Nepal than you can see piles of Web pages than see who have good review than choose him and pay 30 USD a day and 20 USD a day for porter. They will deal with their food, accommodation and salary with this money a day.

Can rent trekking gear in Nepal?

Kathmandu and Pokhara are the main gateway of all trekking in Nepal where you can rent sleeping bags, pant, shoes, down jackets normally. You have to leave some money there when you hire those gears just to be save they will ask with you some deposit.

How to get taxi in Nepal?

It is very simple to get taxi in Nepal, you just show your hand than they will stop easily and then you can deal with them regarding where to go and how much does it takes.

Can I trek in Nepal?

Yes as Nepal has many types of trekking route you can trek for sure. You just need to talk to your friend who have visited Nepal recently or ask with Nepali agent or guide they will let you know. Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, Annapurna Sunrise trek, Poon hill trek etc are easiest trekking trails but it is better to go with local guide who knows everything and can pretends the events such as natural disaster, danger area, forest area etc.

Can I get accommodation in the lodge/tea house in the mountain area?

It depends on where are you trekking and which season will you be choosing to trek to determine the accommodation difficulty. Nepal between September and December or March to May it is difficult to get accommodation but if you have guide or porter with you they will call and reserve before you reach to the tea house. Otherwise in general you can get easily accommodation on cost 5 USD a night in a tea house based accommodation.
